After CVSC closed October 1, 2017, there were 8-10 kettlebell sport athletes without a place to train for the upcoming WAKSC World Championships. Mike secured a loft inside The Playground Training Academy in Clovis. It was 10 feet wide and about 35 feet long- upstairs! Cameras and a laptop were installed and Team Girevik Gear was training via cameras!
The team had a great showing at Worlds with many medals and personal bests taken home. Overall, the team placed third in the team competition. We were stoked and are excited for our next outing- Deck the Bells in San Diego in December.
